Welcome to The Plough
The Plough is a traditional local pub in that is the heart of the village of Beddington. Built in 1897 on the site of an 18th century inn. The pub still has a tunnel in the cellar that leads to Carew Manor in Beddington Park which was frequently visited by Queen Elizabeth 1st and Sir Walter Raleigh whose head is buried in the churchyard of St. Mary’s Church.
A fresh and seasonal British menu is served daily that celebrates the absolute best of British produce. The menu is designed to take you back to those nostalgic British dishes that put a smile on your face. With our NEW opening of the Burger Shack we are now serving up some delicious signature burgers that are perfect for these beautiful summer days out in our beautiful beer Garden. Come down and give them a try!
We frequently show various sporting events as we have BT and Sky Sports. We’ll be following the action of the Six Nations 2019 kicking off on the 1st of February. We’ll also show the action from them FA and Champions leagues. We even might show some of the International Cricket. So be sure to come down and support your team here with us at The Plough.
