Welcome to The Plough
WELCOME TO THE PLOUGH
The Plough is a traditional local pub that is located in the heart of Beddington.
Built in 1897 on the site of an 18th Century Inn, the pub still has a tunnel on its cellar that leads to Carew Manor in Beddington Park- which was frequently visited by Queen Elizabeth 1st and Sir Walter Raleigh, whose head is buried in the churchyard of St. Mary’s Church.
A fresh and seasonal British menu is served daily- a menu that celebrates the absolute best of British produce; it is designed to take you back to those nostalgic British dishes that put a smile on your face. We also have a Burger Shack in our lovely beer garden!
We frequently show various sporting events as we have BT and Sky Sports- and we’re gearing up for a very busy sports season in 2020, as we will be showing all of the Guinness Six Nations rugby matches, Wimbledon and the Euros 2020 in the summer!
The Plough is a 10-minute walk from Waddon Station (0.8m) or a 20-minute walk from Wallington Station (1.2m).
Don and the team look forward to welcoming you to the Plough soon!
